Our Parenting Class for Men/Fathers saw 15 participants, creating a safe space for fathers to share and learn valuable parenting skills. ASN continued to offer Educational Classes in Dari, Pashtu, and Quran/Religion, along with English Classes featuring 3 classes with 5 sessions weekly, and the Women’s Madrasa, providing 2 classes weekly. Our community also benefited from weekly Permit/Driving Classes (3 classes) and Robotics Classes (1 class), helping participants develop practical and technological skills. The Recertification Program for Doctors saw 1 class this month, supporting Afghan professionals on their journey to re-enter the medical field in the U.S.
In addition to these programs, ASN provided vital services to support the community, as highlighted in the attached image. We offered Housing Assistance, Transportation Assistance, and Employment Assistance beyond 210 touches, Our Health Navigation Assistance supported 46 individuals, while Legal & Immigration Assistance helped 18 clients, and Food Assistance reached 5 families in need.
The work continues as we aim to empower and uplift the Afghan community through these meaningful programs and services!
