A Community Hub for All

We are excited to share that Afghan Home (افغان کور – خانه افغانها) is now open and available for all Afghan community members in Greater Portland Metro and Oregon! Whether for Gatherings, Fateha Ceremonies, Celebrations, or any other occasion, both in joy and sorrow, this space is dedicated to bringing the community together and provide communal support strengthening social bonds.

The Afghan-Home is now the home away from home for the community and has become a cornerstone for Afghan cultural preservation and empowerment, reinforcing ASN’s mission of fostering community resilience and long-term growth.

Previously serving as ASN’s office, Afghan Home has now been transformed into a welcoming community center where Afghans can connect, support one another, and create meaningful memories. ASN’s office has moved next door, ensuring that the space remains fully accessible for the community’s use.

In addition to being a gathering place, Afghan House features a Game Corner and a Recreational Section, offering opportunities for families and friends to organize Movie Nights, Sports Watch Parties, and other community-building activities. The Afghan Home also serves as a platform for advocacy, education, and culturally specific events, ensuring that Afghan voices are heard in broader policy discussions.
