In October 2024, ASN provided support to 478 unique clients, leading to a total of 1,100 services touchpoints. Key services included housing assistance, supporting 248 individuals and families in securing safe and stable living arrangements; employment assistance for 114 clients aimed at job placement and career advancement; and health navigation services for 72 clients to help them access essential healthcare. Additionally, with the addition of our new Legal Services Navigator in October, ASN provided legal and immigration support to 82 clients, assisting them in navigating complex legal processes, while 321 clients benefited from transportation and DMV assistance. ASN continued its robust educational programs, serving 235 students across diverse classes ranging from children’s education and English language sessions to professional recertification programs for doctors, as well as robotics, IT, and IT security training.
The increase in female beneficiaries, comprising 52% of all beneficiaries this month, highlights ASN’s success in expanding its reach and creating impactful services that uplift and empower the Afghan female population within the community.
