The Afghan Support Network (ASN) is seeking a Community Engagement Manager – Salem to play a vital role in supporting our mission to empower and uplift the Afghan community in Oregon. This position is crucial in expanding ASN’s outreach, advocacy, and resource support in Salem, where many Afghan families continue to face challenges in accessing services, navigating resettlement processes, and finding culturally responsive community support.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Community Engagement Manager – Salem will lead local engagement efforts, strengthen partnerships, and mobilize community-driven initiatives. This role will focus on outreach, program coordination, and advocacy, ensuring that Afghan families in Salem receive critical resources, support services, and opportunities for integration. The ideal candidate will have experience in community organizing, program management, and partnership development, along with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of refugee and immigrant needs. This role is essential in bridging gaps in resources, fostering collaboration with service providers, and building a network of support that directly contributes to the well-being and resilience of the Afghan community in Salem.
