Since its founding in 2021, ASN has become one of the leading organizations serving Afghan refugees, immigrants, and Afghan-American communities in Oregon and Southwest Washington. As the organization continues to grow, we are seeking board members who can contribute expertise, leadership, professional networks, and resources to strengthen our long-term sustainability and community impact.
Today, ASN serves approximately 400 individuals each month through culturally responsive programs, direct services, advocacy, and community-building initiatives. While rooted in and primarily serving the Afghan community, ASN supports individuals and families from all backgrounds, with a particular focus on immigrants, refugees, and other underserved communities throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.

The Afghan Support Network is the first culturally specific nonprofit organization that has been formed to target the needs of Afghan refugees and the Afghan-American community.
